IDS fight for victory!
Lindsey Fallon and Carl Glover of IDS raised £1,465 between them this weekend for two separate charities at two separate events.
Lindsey signed up to Pink Collar Boxing in August where she went on to do 8 weeks of intensive boxing training which ended in the ring on Sunday 20th September, where she fought her opponent Jodie Fogarty and won on points 30 to 28. Her family and friends attended to cheer her on at the Portland Hotel in Manchester.
Lindsey’s charity of choice was The Seashell Trust, a local charity is dedicated to providing a creative, happy and secure environment for children and adults with complex and severe learning disabilities which include little or no language abilities. She has raised £565 so far for the charity and hopes to raise more – if you would like to donate then please follow the link www.virginmoneygiving.com/FerociousFallon
Carl raised in excess of £900 organising a golf day for Gregson Green at Fishwick Hall Golf Club, Preston. Gregson Green is a community run project looking to raise in excess of £1m to provide a shared facility for the whole community in Gregson Lane, Hoghton.
